Here at Crossway Community Church, our main focus is to build community through the power of relationships.

We exist to build a community by building relationships with fellow believers.

We exist to reach our comunity by serving and loving those outside our church walls.

We exist to grow in Christ through community by seeking God and loving each other.

It is our hopes that this pages answers three basic questions. We want to make sure that you understand the personality of the church. We love God, love people, and would love for you to join us.

Here at Crossway, we hold to several core beliefs.

The Bible is the divinely inspired book on how we should live our lives. We strongly believe that if we follow God's Word that we will grow stronger as a community, and closer to God. We don't teach what we think is true, we teach God's Word because it is true. We rely heavily on what the Bible says so that we will never stray away from the path that God has set before us.

(2 TIm 3:15-17; 1 Thess 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.

(Gen 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Rom 3:23)

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty of death. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

(Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8-9; John 14:6, 1:2; Gal 3:26; Rom 5:1, 10:9-10)

Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He physically rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus ascended to Heaven and will physically return again someday to earth to reign as King.

(Matt 1:22,23; John 1:1-5,14; Heb 4:14-15; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Rom 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Tim 6:14-15; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)

God is the Creater and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and one God.

(Genesis 1:1, 26, 27 & 3:22; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

The Holy Spirit begins to dwell within us at the moment of salvation. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is another biblical experience that follows salvation. This baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to every believer who seeks it. In 1 Corinthians 12-14, the Bible lists many gifts of the Holy Spirit baptism that God uses in His people to encourage and edify others.

(Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; Gal 3:14-15)

"Crossway is home! We found Crossway about 7 years ago after moving into the area. We knew it would be home instantly. The presence of God is real, the people are real, and the relationships are real and that’s what’s most important to our family."
